Gothenburg, Sweden - 2012-04-11
In connection with Taxi Göteborg's 90th anniversary in 2012, the company is taking the opportunity to upgrade its roof profile. Pointguard has been given the honorable task of supplying roof signs for the entire Taxi Göteborg taxi fleet. This makes Taxi Göteborg the first in Sweden and among the first in Europe to have a digital taxi sign.
Unlike traditional taxi roof lights with static messages, a digital taxi light offers the possibility to adapt the message to the context and surroundings. This can be used, for example, to show the taxi's status (Available, Busy, Booked, etc.) or to communicate other important messages to the surrounding area.
In addition to the digital taxi sign, Taxi Göteborg will also receive an integrated advertising ramp with a new design. The entire sign's design is based on Taxi Göteborg's well-known profile and, in combination with the unique front sign, the new sign will ensure that Taxi Göteborg's cars stand out from the crowd during their 90th anniversary and for a long time to come.
“We are proud to be collaborating with Taxi Göteborg on this new and technically groundbreaking project,” says Pointguard CEO Jesper Flygt.
