RoadAssist was founded in 2012 as a non-profit, independent group working to promote a safer traffic environment and providing assistance to those who need help on the road. RoadAssist has three rescue vehicles that assist motorists who have broken down at the side of the road and also help to warn and alert motorists to hazards on and adjacent to the road. Since its inception, RoadAssist has helped many motorists involved in accidents, and the work is carried out entirely on a voluntary basis by people who are deeply committed to road safety.
Pointguard thinks RoadAssist is a great initiative, and we have sponsored them with specially made new car stickers so that they are even more visible in traffic. We wish RoadAssist and its founder Johannes Törngren Gonzales the best of luck in the future. Follow them on Facebook for news about what's happening on the road: http://www.facebook.com/RoadAssistUppsala/
