Dec 2017 - Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2018

Looking back on 2017, it has been a very exciting year packed with digitalisation, new technology and new collaborations. We have strengthened our position in the Middle East and have also sent iToplights to places as far apart as Aruba, Iceland and Australia, to name but a few. We have also integrated our products and established new partnerships with other smart taxi solutions such as Cabman's taximeters, TaxiID, and TaxiButler. We have focused heavily on digitalization, both internally and by creating new, innovative products:

New, integrated business systems

During the year, we have started using two new, web-based, integrated business and inventory management systems. We are also in the process of final testing our web shop, which is also fully integrated with the other systems. Together, these new systems enable us to work faster and more efficiently while providing better service to our customers.

Pointguard's cloud platform and apps

We have made significant progress in the development of our cloud platform, which will enable features such as real-time vehicle tracking, advanced statistics, testing, maintenance, and remote configuration of our products, initially with a focus on our iToplights. We have also developed new apps for iOS and Android for our iToplight products, with improved design and usability, new functionality, and integration with the cloud system.

New camera system for vehicle fleets

We are also conducting final tests on our new camera system, iFleetcam. The new system will offer higher image quality and greatly simplified camera and image management thanks to a built-in 3G modem. It also supports features such as real-time overview of the vehicle fleet, remote function testing, driving behavior analysis, and more.

Mobile sensor platform for air quality, among other things

Together with our partner, Upwis, we have developed a new mobile sensor platform: iFleetsense, which can be integrated with or used in conjunction with our iToplight signs. With this new platform, vehicle fleets can be transformed into dynamic air quality data collection systems, allowing them to become part of the solution to air quality problems in the smart cities of the future.
