Sept 2025 - Arabia Taxi Dubai expands iToplight deployment
Pointguard is proud to announce that Arabia Taxi Dubai, one of the leading taxi operators in the United Arab Emirates, has decided to expand its deployment of the iToplight D300 smart taxi roof signage system. Following the successful installation and evaluation of 500 units during the first half of the year, Arabia has now placed a follow-up order for 1,200 additional units, bringing the total deployment in Dubai to 1,700 vehicles.
Established in 2005, Arabia Taxi Dubai is a key franchisee under Dubai’s Roads & Transport Authority (RTA), operating a total fleet of 6,000 taxis across the UAE.
This expanded partnership marks a major step in Arabia Taxi’s commitment to delivering higher quality and more efficient transportation services in the region.

By integrating the iToplight D300, Arabia Taxi is taking a clear step toward realizing this vision. More than just a sign, the D300 functions as a dynamic communication platform, offering high visibility and real-time service integration that supports safer and smarter mobility.
Features such as API-based control, integration with dispatch and taximeter systems, and the ability to display public service announcements make the D300 a forward-looking, multi-functional tool in any modern taxi network.
This project is being delivered in close cooperation with our regional partner GrandViz IT and Security Solutions LLC, who continues to play a key role in successful implementation throughout the UAE.
